I would actually like to go with Cordura, since I live in the desert and regularly see >110F temps in the summer...and hard top is unheard of! I like a nice cloth, but need to check out color options. I'm on the fence about going with a blue or red accent theme...
I second that, I live in FL and have to deal with humidity also. Neoprene makes you sweat the one place I really don't like to.
Basically something cool and water resistant that would actually breath.

After 12 months in sunny Florida my Wet Okoles are pretty faded. Top stays on most of the time but what was black is now a brownish color. Other than that they Are comfortable and they have washed up nice a couple of times.

My dogs haven't affected them, but they aren't very big either. 35lbs each.

This is going great. I myself have spent hours searching and debating on seat covers and this thread has shown some I had never heard of.

One note needs to be added though the Katzkin are not "covers" they are an upholstery replacement, extremely nice and customizable with logos. Base price is $750 and can easily go $1,000+ with options.

The rest listed do appear to be just covers meaning you leave the factory upholstery. The GT ones are just what I was looking for but in marathon's favor they are meant to be easily removed for cleaning. For me the perfect seat would have upholstery that does mind getting wet along with an easily removed/clean cover.

Katzkin here and I love them. Durable, easy to maintain but some serious ass freezing in the winter is to be expected. You might as well get a heated seat kit while your at it.

thanks for the heads-up; but one question. Were the covers you had the "seat protectors" (RR part# 13235.30 & .32 with some storage on the back of seat); or the complete "seat cover" ?

Thanks for the heads-up; but I have the same question for you as I asked in post# 31.

I have the smittybuilt's front and rear on my unlimited. A friend has the same on his. Fair product for the price. I am disappointed with the construction on them however. Each of the sets had at least one of the straps that attach under the front seats rip completely off while installing. Mine was drivers seat his was passengers seat. Other than that fronts are ok. Still secure even wiyh the broken strap. Bottom portion of back seat fits well and again each set had a strap rip off while installing. We were using very little force, just could have used better stitching. The backrest portion is terrible. Holes for seat release don't line up right. Mine is an 09 with pull loops. His is an 07 with the release lever. Seat covers don't quite cover the sides of the rear seats well. Part of the seat is still exposed. After a few weeks i removed the backrest (not headrest) portion of rear seat because i couldn never find the release loop. I am not upset on my choice but after seeing wet okole's and taking a close look at their construction i would probably get them if i had to do it over again.
Previous posters weren't kidding when they said neoprene does make you sweat if it is hot out. But they wipe right off and water doesn't soak through.

Thanks for the "poll" and all the input. I just ordered Iggee's. They look good to me and free shipping. We'll see. I plan on a lot of doors/top off time this spring and summer and I want to keep my seats as protected as I can and still not worry about them too much.

There's no way I can take my dog with me anywhere right now without my stock seats getting crazy dog fur all through them. Could Chrylser/Jeep have found a more animal un-friendly fabric to put on their seats..?? Wow.

Wish me luck!

Oh, yeah, I ordered black and Red two-tone for my blk Jeep...
