Default Seperate wheels/Tires

I am thinking about buying a set of wheels and tires to just use for going off road. I would keep the stock one on for daily use. Has anyone tried this or would it be too much of a pain in the a$$ to change them out.

I currently have 35s on 16" procomp wheels and still have my stock 17s. I opted to keep my 17s just in case I needed to take the jeep for its annual safety inspection (protruding tires w/stock flares) and to the dealership for any warranty type repairs (yes, i know about the Magnuson-Moss act) but just didnt want any more hassle from the dealership. I have a 3.5 ton floor jack w/6 ton jack stands which make switching the tires a breeze
