Need a front drive shaft...Looking at these two:

Anybody use either one of these?

I am running Adams shafts, and they are top notch. Highly recommended. I would also get the sealed joints.

I was told by a mechanic that non-greasable joints are the best because grease ports can pose an avenue for dirt and grime to get in. I ended up getting the Coast 1310 drive shaft and I am very happy with it.

I have Adams shafts. I would get the solid front joint a bit stronger although you still need to grease the double cardan ball.
Try calling Adams they may be able to do a slightly better price, and you'll get a T-shirt. 😁

This might be worth repeating. Regardless of what type of ujoints you choose, you'll need to pull the shaft off to get to that one. At least I have never been able to get to it while installed.

Or maybe there is a sealed ball available now?

As far as I know there's not a sealed ball and it is a whole lot easier to grease removed, although I have done it without. I have one of those pointed extensions that I bent a little bit.

Nice, just might have to try that. I'm getting too old and lazy to want to pull that thing just to grease a single joint.
