Default Shaking Problem

I've had this issue for a while now. Every time I brake from 30+ mph, the entire front of my jeep starts shaking. Its only when I brake from a moderate speed that this happens. I don't know what the issue is, can anyone help?

2007 Wrangler Unlimited X
4" RC X-Series Lift
35" BFGoodrich Tires

If you need any other info, just ask. Thanks!

If the shaking is only occurring while braking then I'd start with warped rotors.

So warped rotors? Could it be sticking calipers or anything else? I don't really want to spend 200 to get new rotors at the moment

Jack up the front end, one side at a time, take off the wheel, put a runout gauge on it and give the hub/rotor a spin and see what the indicator tells you. Then put that wheel back on, and repeat on the other side. Process of elimination. Don't swap parts for no reason.

You could even have a siezed caliper and the resulting warped rotors are the byproduct of the calipers. Big tires can result in over heated rotors also. But i agree with the above. Shakes while braking are most likely warped rotors. Your next question is why?
Heavy braking from either heavy foot or big tires or high speed stops or siezed calipers.

While your at it check your tie rod ends. When tie rod ends start to go you can get the same feeling as a warped brake rotor.
Only thing is, having a tie rod go bad is much much worse.

Check for play in the trac bar,I had the same problem then it progressed to death wooble, the axle side trac bar mount had wallowed out causing some side to side movement.I welded a washer over the hole and installed a 9/16th bolt and problem gone.
