how do you remove the 4x4 shifter? I got the auto shifter off but can't get the 4x4.

 

Nevermind I figured it out. It hurt a little bit.

 

Please do share and explain how not to make it hurt a little bit.

Ok, iam hooked. What kind of mod are you doing ?

 

This is the truth. You have to pull straight up on the handle. You might get the feeling your going to break it, but that still isn't hard enough pull harder. It will than come off. I think this design could get changed and use a hex screw like the auto shifter.
