Default Shimmy and a Shake

Hey guys I have a 2" spacer lift and I am running 35"s. I have a problem with some flighty steering. I used the trackbar relocation bracket but I am looking for something to firm up that front end. Any help? Maybe some links? Thanks!

You will want adjustable upper or lower front control arms to get your caster back into spec's.

With a 2" lift caster should not be an issue. Have you checked to make sure your track bar bolts are tight as well as your sway bar links?

Also, check your tire pressure, 26-28psi seems to be good on the jk . Mine was flighty as hell when the tires were first put on at 45psi dropped them to 35 then to 28 in frt and 26 in rear, all is good

Are you running the front track bar relocation bracket that came with the FT lift? If that's the case I'd recommend taking it off. I heard from a few people that they had trouble with flighty steering when running that bracket so I never even installed mine.

My front axle is barely off center and I've never had any steering issues in about 5K miles.

You have a point, that I had forgotten about. I do remember some members stating that their lift worked better without the relocation bracket.

I dropped the PSI and that helped a bit. Should I remove the bracket? Or get a different track bar? I have also heard the track bar bracket needs to be reinforced, what is a good way to do that? Thanks for the help!

Take the relocation bracket off and keep your trackbar in the stock location. If it drives fine I wouldn't worry about an adj trk bar until you lift it more than 2in.I had a 2in REBB on mine, it drove like stock, even a little better, no brackets at all.
