Default Shittybilt rocker guards

Well I got my rocker guards in today. Was really excited to put them on until they didn't fit! Seriously it's ridiculous. Soo guess I'm gonna bust out the dremel and get to work, but until then..

I just installed mine too and the fit was less than perfect. What worked for me was to install one side loose and use a floor Jack to pop the other side past the body mount.

That sucks, I have had mine on since Christmas and they went on flawlessly. Do the rear first very loosely then the front. Then tighten them down.

exactly what i had to do to install mine but they went on nonetheless. i get it when people get frustraed about paying for mods and they don't quite 'bolt on' but these are a less expensive solution, so expect these little 'hang ups'

i also found that i couldn't get 1 nut on each side. no big deal, they're still fairly stout. i've bashed them a bunch of times and they've held up, no dents not even a scracth on the eCoat. for the price i'd say they're worth it.

One side went on smooth as could be, had to take off about a 16th of an inch on the other side. Mildly annoying, but given the cost I can't complain. Well, I could, but why bother. It's really not that big a deal to me, I just did what I had to do and got them on. That's why I buy tools, to fix shit with. Now that they are on, I love them. Nice and solid, look great (imo), and best of all, the g/f bought them for me.
