i have had 2 sets of rocker guards with smittybilt first and then a set of olympic a/t rails
and both went on with a little struggle but i did have to drill out to smitty bilts

 

I'll post some pics when I get back to the install. Kinda busy for the upcoming days but they'll be on by the end of the week.

 

I don't think I have done a mod yet, (hard parts) that did'nt take some kind of adjustment, there always seems to be just 1 bolt hole or some shit that just does'nt line up just right..... no matter how much $$$ I spent on the part, there is always something....

 

They are also a bitch to install, so i had 4wd install mine. They thought it would take an hour or two so they only charged me like 150 to install. They were pretty pissed 6 hours later and they still werent on yet

This was a known issue on the first gen run. Call Smittybilt.....

 

I had the same problem with my rock rails from rugged ridge. One side went on ok but the other side was a struggle. Hadf to put one side on then push the rail 3-4 inches towards the frame to fit. It was welded wrong.
