Default Shocks for aev 2" bb

I want to ditch the shock extension brackets and run a longer shock. I have looked at skyjacker m95, ome, teraflex, and bilisten 5100. I read where the bilistens and teraflex require 4.5 bs wheels (which I don't have yet...good excuse) plus not sure on what size to get as the aev raised the front 2 and the back one? Do I even need longer rears? How woul the ride be if I ran new fronts and factory rear? Any advice welcome.

You should be ok with 2-2.5" shocks. Call dave at northridge 4x4 or PM the rancho or teraflex reps here on forum. All great customer service and any of the shocks you listed will be fine. As for the 4.5" BS, I wouldn't rely on that person or persons for any further info in the future. Back spacing will not effect the type of shocks you want, MANY people run stock rims (6.25" BS) and all of those shocks your considering...
