Default Shocks??? maybe some spacers....

ok so after driving my 2013 JKU sport for about 2k miles now ive decided i really dont like how soft the stock shocks are.... i had OME sport charger shocks on my TJ and they worked great so thats what i want to put on the JKU, well i think...

i was thinking about getting the sport OMEs that are for 2-2.5" lift since it will get a 2.5" AEV kit in the future just not right now and i want to use these shocks with that. im also thinking about going with a 1" spacer in the rear and a 1-3/4" in the front to level it out a little bit and help the shocks be closer to their operating range.

so my question is how would rubi shocks compare to the OMEs? being that they pop up for sale occasionally would it be smarter to just go with them for a more controlled ride, but limit the suspension down travel that i could get with the OMEs over the rubi shocks? would they even be an improvement over the sport shocks?

and down the road the spacers will come out when the AEV kit goes in so the OME shocks should still work then

thanks for the input

Kinda tough to say the rubi shocks are an improvement- just different. We did the coil and spring swap on Our sport and was a good $140 investment on a JK with 50k miles. Will say this, the NEXT coil and shock swap, will be with OME. GL
