Default Should I buy this SuperChip tuner?

A friend of mine has a Superchip Flashpaq tuner. he bought it for his Jeep but never used it and wants to sell it. 250 dollars is very tempting but here is the problem... He has a TJ not a JK. Will the tuner he bought work on my 07 JK if he has not yet used it on his TJ? Please let me know ASAP if this is a good buy or not. I really would like to move fast. Thanks
feel free to email me on this one

3875 is the one that the JK uses. It should be good for all jeeps back through 1998 I think, but if you go out to the superchips website and look for that version number, you will find a big application chart that lists it all out.

And it doesn't matter if he has used it or not. As long as it is 'returned to stock' and no longer locked to a previous vehicles VIN number, it is good to go.

If the price sounds good to you, go for it. Here locally, used ones have been going for $200.
