Default Should I be worried about this?

Seems a bit close to the rear tires, didn't know if it would be a problem. Would it be ok to trim it down a bit, like at an angle?Click image for larger version

Search "pinch seam", you will find plenty of threads on how to trim it.

Just grab your favorite cutting tool and trim it (it only feels wrong the first time) then paint the edges to help prevent rust

Your tire will move backwards as it travels up with the control arm, so it might clear. If it were me, I'd cut it for added clearance.

Yep. What he said. Just don't cut the pinch seam. I trimmed mine, running 35's and never had an issue. Trimmed just for good measure.

x2!! I used a little JB weld on the seam and then hit it with some black paint!! Looks factory... Done is less than 30 minutes including getting out and putting the tools away.
