Just curious if anyone else considered replacing their side decals ("Wrangler" or "Wrangler Unlimited") with an old style (TJ, YJ etc.) "Jeep" sticker? Would be even better if they were made to look 3D to give it the "Joop" look of old but I guess the shading in the sticker would have to match the factory Jeep colors ... Anyway the replacement "Jeep" stickers available now through various catalogs would work. Just wanted some thoughts as I've been kicking it around ...

Would appreciate some pics if anyone has already done it or can atleast photoshop one (black Jeep sticker on greystone JK preferably)...

 

I think I am going to do this on my Jeep except white decals. Then above the Jeep logo I want to get a custom sticker made.

It will be a round decal with a white star in the middle. "The American Legend" circular around the top of the star and 41MB-07JK circular around the bottom of the star. Just need to find someone to photoshop it for me since I suck at the photoshop.

 

The logo I like is the "4 Wheel Drive" logo we saw on the rear of the Orange JK in the Sema pics. It was placed on the rear of CJ's in the 50's or 60's the lettering reads on a diagonal from left rising to the right and the numeral 4 has a circle around it. Here's the big question: Where do I get one or does anybody have it digitized ? Sorry if I hijacked the thread.

 

Somebody here has done it, but I can't remember who. Maybe they'll see this thread and speak up.

I finally got around to snapping some pics of the Jeep decal. I'm much happier with the way it looks compared to the "Wrangler Unlimited" decals...

...the mud adds a little extra touch as well
