Old jeep bumper and a four inch channel iron have the same problem, they will not quite fit on the end of the frame. Some notching needs to be done where the fram and the bumper mate.

not to highjack or anything. but does anyone know if anyone makes just the d rings that bolt into the frame like that?

Www.Jeepswag.com has some shackle mounts. Then you put the d rings on those.

Closest I have seen is Offroad Evolution's D Ring Mounts

I will be making a rear bumper out of a old YJ front bumper and will be adding some jeep swag d ring mounts. I will post some pictures when I have time to get started.
