Default Simple gearing question.

I have a 2007 Sahara auto. I know from my build sheet that I have 4.10 gears in the rear due to the towing package, but what do I have up front. The build sheet dosent say, all it says is:

DJRS Next Gen. Dana 30 Solid Front Axle
DMFP 4.10 Rear Axle Ratio
DRZS Next Gen. Dana 44 HD Rear Axle
DSA Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle
DS7S Conventional Differential Frt Axle

Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

If you have 4.10 in rear from factory then you have 4.10 in front.

Yes, you have the same gears front and rear from the factory, and yes you will need 5.13's front and rear.

If you had 3.21's, you would want a new front carrier when you regeared. As you have 4.10's currently, you will not need a carrier. Just the new gears and install/overhaul kits.

LOL

As a general rule of thumb, the factory will ALWAYS give you the same gearing in front and rear.

The reason is that if the gearing were different, the front and rear could not both be practically engaged at the same time, rendering them worthless.

The gearing of the diff is part of what dictates the wheel speed at any given rpm...

.....so if the front end is turning with one wheel speed, and the rear is turning with another wheel speed, the two will be fighting each other...either having a tug of war, or one trying to push or drag the other one, etc.

As a rig that screeches and chirps and is fighting with itself the entire time its in 4WD would be silly to specify from the factory...they simply never do that.

I'm planning on regearing as well. Any suggestions for a good front carrier for someone with 3.21 gears?
