Default Skid armor for my '11 rubi 2dr manual???

Okay forum jeepers... All mods done except for under armor skids... I have limited knowledge here... Want to cover the underbelly and utilize the stock rubi protection... What skid plates/protection is recommended? Good kits out there w several pieces? Thanks for the feedback, will also continue to search the threads.

in spite of what some will try and suggest, your jeep already comes with a more than adequate gastank and transfer case skid and they will serve you just fine. however, your oil pan is completely exposed and i would armor that up with an evo protek skid or rancho skid. if you have an automatic, the 2011 transmission sump pan is exposed as well and i would either install a rock krawler hd deep sump pan or evo protek skid to protect it. your evap is better off being relocated than armored up but, i've done neither and in the last 5 years, have only knocked it off 3 times and only had to replace it once.

WOL,
Thanks. The stock tank armor durability was my understanding as well, and I will keep that. Thanks for the recommendation. What about shaft protection front and rear?

drive shaft? not a whole lot you can do there. try to pick good lines and keep your tires on the obstacles. that alone will take you a long way in protecting everything

For a 11 4 door automatic would you recommend the oil or tranny pan skid first?

hmmm, that's tough. the 11's do come with a "skid bar" but, it's far from adequate and really, you're more likely to hit your tranny than your oil pan so, i would go with that.

i've run the rock krawler deep sump heavy duty pan and found it to be a better alternative to a skid plate.

Do you know of the quality of the M.O.R.E. oil pan and tranny pan skid?

I have a 2012 2dr Rubicon w/manual, and put the Rock Hard plates under mine. I have the Jeep/Mopar diff covers, and also have the White Knuckle sliders.

Was looking at the aev driveshaft skid. Any experience with it or similar?

Right lines definitely help :-). My little rubi just loves to run off and play in the rock gardens with its friends :-)
