Skidplates?

I have a stock 2010 rubicon and plan to go on my first trail ride in two weeks. I`m not too worried about scratching up the paint but I dont want to damage anything underneath, so I would like some recommendations on skidplates. I would like to upgrade in stages. Thanks in advance for helping out a noob.

Get an evap relocation kit or evap skid plate first.
