Question Skip the Teraflex leveling kit & go straight to the 2.5 coil kit?

Even though I'll be running the 265/75/16s for awhile? How bad will it look?

I've searched the show & tell section & did see the 32s on stock thread

You'll be fine. If you know you are going to the coils don't bother with the levelling kit. You'll just be throwing money away.

I would say wait until you can do it all at once. 265/75-16's with a 2.5" lift will make your tires look extra small. Been there done that.

Don't go leveling kit. I ran the 2.5" coil lift with my stock rubi tires for a year and it looked fine. You may also want to look into Rock Kralwer's new 1.5" lift system they have, looks pretty sweet.

I agree with the other posters. If you are already planning on going with the Teraflex 2.5" Coil Lift, skip the leveling kit for now. It isn't going to look unbearably bad and you'll save some money.

Let me know when you're ready to make a move on the coils and I'll see what kind of deal I can get you!

I have to disagree, sure the Teraflex 2.5 coil lift is great, but sometimes money is an issue. For $130 bucks you can't beat it. If your keep stock size tires and your wallet is a little light the spacer kit is a great option.

if your worried about the "look" then just save up and do it all at once.. it will cost as much for, if not more, for wheels and tires than it did for the lift.. i have about 200 more in my wheels and tires then i do for my aev lift.. with that said... i ran a 2.5" aev lift on my stock 29" tires and 16" wheels for 3 months.. sure it really looked funny but hey whatever.. i do what i want...

Thumbs up Thanks for the replies...

My plan is to upgrade to 35s when these tires are done. That's why I was thinking of the coil kit. I've seen the Rock Krawler kits, too they look nice. Just a bit beyond my budget Would the Rancho 2" kit be a better compromise?

No one is saying the spacer is not a good deal, but if you read their first post, he is thinking of going spacer, then eventually coil. Why do both? You aren't saving any money this way.

Won't look bad , I am currently running stock rubicon tires with spacers and 3 inch lift and have had a lot of complements on it. Sent using smoke signals
