Both axels off center by 1", resulting in tire rub when flexed.
Caster angle at 2.7 & 3.2 degrees, resulting in steering wandering all over the road.
Pinion angle at 10 degrees with rear drive shaft at 20 degrees, resulting in a drive shaft that was destined to blow up (see other posts on this).

Bought the following to remedy all of the above:

Full traction adjustable upper & lower front & rear control arms, plus adjustable track bars front and rear.
Currie weld in track bar brackets.
JE REEL HD 1350 drive shafts.

This brought a new meaning to Just Empty Every Pocket!

Moral of the story, if you're going to 4" and want things set right, get adjustable stuff (IMHO) and put it in yourself. Also David at Northridge was great! Also Eddie was super helpful on info. for a novice on installing this stuff!

PS Skyjacker parts are for sale. Only 100 miles on them.

Yeah,I I'd be willing to bet the problem with your's is that: 1) you got a 4" lift which is listed as 5" on the 2Dr, 2) this threw all the angles out of wack very badly on the short wheel base causing you to have all of these problems. Everything that I've read is that all of the other upgrades that you did are pretty much a necessity on a 2Dr with anything over 3.5" of lift. I had the same set up as you on my 4Dr, including wheels and tires and didn't have those problems. Since I've changed to the wider, lower backspacing wheels, it wanders a little more, but not that badly. Still, I plan on Adjustable arms to take that out. I hate to hear about the problems Mesa, I know that you had asked me about mine. I'm sorry that the same setup didn't work out on yours.

Well, I guess you learn as you go. I'm not really mad at the shop, they installed the kit they sell and put it in right. I think the short wheel base may have been it. I've got the Currie front mount welded in. Debating still on the back. I have the Currie, but wonder if the skyjacker mount with bracket over to diff cover is better. Maybe I can use both??

Just looking forward to getting off-road and spring trip to Moab!

I really need to ad some support to the front mount, hopefully tomorrow. There is this really talented welder next to where I work, they help me out all the time I might ask them to just weld on some gussets if possible. When are you heading out to moab? If you want to meet up sometime, send me a PM, Moab is pretty much in my back yard and I am always looking for an excuse to go

I busted the rear Skyjacker track bar bracket. Had the new Skyjacker rear bracket installed. Seems to be working fine now. No regrets with the 4" Skyjacker lift on a 2-door.

I bot the 4 inch lift from 4 wheel parts and install also with warrenty. Brook the rear track bar bracket in the first 100 miles. Took it back and they would not help me they sead that from the damedge to the tires it looked like i was going over rocks and the lift kit was not made for that kind of off roading. So i took it to off road evolution they took care of me. And in a month when the front did the same off road evolution helped again. after about 2 monthes the rear lower control arms are bad. so i have slowly replaced the skyjacker parts out with fulltraction. And the diffrence is incredible. The ride is so much better.
ooo and if your wondering if i called skyjacker i did and they where kind enough to send me a sticker for my front windsheld. NO THANKS lol.
