Anyone installed, familiar with or seen Skyjackers new long arm suspension? Does their Long Arm system come in 4", 6" and 7"?

I do not have first hand experience with SkyJacker, but I do know that people tend to favor other manufacturers. I know that their springs ride really nice because they are soft. Over time however, they will sag. If my memory serves me right skyjacker arms use heim joints instead of rebuildable flex joints (flex joints do not get sloppy over time). If you are in the market for a long arm kit the RE and Shaffer's kits will be higher quality IMHO. With that being said in all fairness the skyjacker kit will probably be fine unless you really plan to wheel the junk out of it. By the way... do you really need a long arm lift? What tires do you plan on running? Seems people have been getting away with 37s and 4" of lift without the need for long arm kits.

I prefer a long arm kit with my experiences with my TJ's, granted, the TJ's were much shorter in wb. There are many benefits to the long arm reconfiguration and am glad to go that route. The reason I asked about the lift heights, is that I'm not sure what "kits" they are making, in regards to the long arm system and the overall lift gained and was wondering if anyone had some insight. I'm not just trying to get height for a taller tire. I want the whole package.

Why do you prefer Long Arm kits? Do they ride better on-road? Or are the benefits purely off-road? How does Rubicon Express LA compare to Skyjacker's?

when I get it installed, I'll drive a few miles north and take you for a ride in it.

I have had the Skyjacker installed for a month or so now and I have no complaints. I am running 37" Superswamper trxus with minimal trimming.

As for the spring sag comments,, yes they will probably sag, I think all coil springs do, but not enough to worry about.

This is good news that skyjacker has crossed over to the rebuildable joints and I am glad to see their products are being put through the tests. I browsed over their website to see if I could find anything out for you... couldn't find any info at all on their long arm kits. Makes me think they do not have one out yet or that it's in development.
