Default Skyjacker 7" long arm?

Just a have a few questions but first this is what i have..
2 door manual with 3.73 gears, im looking to go with the skyjacker 6 or 7" long arm with 20" rims and either 35's or 37's.

does anyone have a 2 door with the skyjacker 6-7", if so what are the pros and cons, and do you have pictures. just want to make sure this isnt too high for a 2 door and how soon after my i get the lift will i need to change gears?

any info or other things for me to consider about this setup would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

3.73s are gonna suck with any larger tire. I reccomend you go 4.88 or 5.13 soon.

Personally I would stay away from any skyjacker lift with all the problems with them causing track bar brackets to break off the axles

6-7in lift you would definitely want 37's atleast though

I would go with tereflex or full traction if you want a great long arm lift.

it isn't skyjacker causing it it is a crap design by Jeep. Even JKs without lifts are having the brackets sheer off. What ever lift you get you need to beef that thing up or get the tera bracket kit.

You do know that you are going to run into a lot of issues with any lift over 3 inches or so on a 2dr. You are going to replace drive shafts, strengthen axles if you are going to use 37s, re gear (stock gears with even 35s area pia) and there are many other issues you are going to face. I just don't want you to think you can throw on a lift and tires and be done with it.

I would stay away from SkyHacker. I don't think their products are as good as they are advertised. Tera is what I have and would recommend but would also recommend full traction

Check out the Rockkrawler 3.5 inch long arm for 35's, or with flatties for up to 38's

Thats a lot of lift for a 2dr. Your drive shaft angles are going to suck.

And I have to ask, because I am function over form. Why on earth do you want 20" wheels? They will hurt performance in every way.
