I just installed the Tereflex Level kit. 2" spacers for the front and 1" spacers for the rear.. Im running 33's and I am very happy so far.. The Spacer kit was only 119.99 . This is very affordable and it gives the JK a nice look without breaking the bank.

What size tire do you want? Spacer lifts are pretty reputable, I know I've wheeled mine pretty hard and haven't had any issues as all. Biggest you'd want with a spacer lift is a 2.5". You should look at or get rear brake line extensions (EASY to make yourself), some extended rear sway bar end-links (relocate your stock rears to the front) and possibly a track bar bracket or two (frame side, ones that mount to the axle seem to be sheering the axle mount off when off-roading..some have zero issues, some won't touch them). Some come with shocks, some have shock extensions. I have the shock extensions on mine due to keeping the cost down, and rather just putting the shock money towards ones I want down the road. Again, zero issues with the shock extensions.

Just ordered the Teraflex leveling kit, $119.00 shipped. Sounds like something you may be looking for. I'll let you know how it turns out after I install it.

Do the teraflex 2.5" BB kit. It's simple and complete.
You will be able to fit upwards to 35" if you wanted but your 17" Rubi & BFG mts are perfect IMO

as a DD you will be happy with this size. Trust me, I know of two close JKers who "overbuilt" their JKs and ended up a bit unhappy with their purchases. (I know, sacrilidge to say on the modified board ). But, again, you're asking about a "small lift" for a DD, thus I'd just recommend a complete kit by TF with the shock extensions as recommended above^^^
your Rubi shocks are sufficient btw

I have a 2 1/2 in rough country spacer lift that comes with everything you need to relocate brake lines. It was $135 at www.roughcountry.com. super easy to install. this pic is before i put on the 35's.

I just put the Full Traction 2" BB (spacer) lift on last weekend. If you get it, don't install the track bar bracket, as I later found out that it's unnecessary and actually screws up the geometry (track bar and drag link angles too far off), but once we learned that and took the bracket back off, everything is cherry. It's a full 2" front and rear, but the stance looks good and I've been really happy with it. We didn't have to mess with brake lines or anything either, so I'd definitely recommend it.

Nope, no sway bar ends or anything. It was really cool, because 5 guys from the Cen-Cal group here on the forum came over and helped me. We got the install done in about and hour and a half including lots of BS-ing and putting that track bar bracket on. And that was doing it in the street in front of my house. If you've got a nice garage set-up with everything right in front of you, it could be even quicker. It almost took longer to re-center the steering wheel than put the lift on I haven't taken pics yet, but I will and post them today for you.
