Hey everyone, I just bought the smittybilt extended bikini for my 2-door. The install took less than 10 minutes, easy, but I'm not happy with how it straps down. The rear corner straps appears that its designed more for the 4-door than the 2-door. Also the center flap hooks are these flimsy plastic deals. There is no specifics in the directions for the middle side strap hooks so I just hooked it to a hole in the soft top mounting plate on the roll bar. Can anybody confirm this? Does anyone have this same top and how do you like it/ how did you fit it? Also does anyone have the Bestop equivalent for a comparison? I'll try and take some pics. Thanks. -Jason

 

Ok figured out the center side straps, there's a little loop to hook the flimsy plastic hook on. Still not sure about the rear corner...it works but doesnt seem like the best design... kinda chincy.

Center sound bar hooks...seems flimsy




Here's the rear corner strap...it seems like its designed to wrap around a connecting bar and a side bar cause when you strap it down it bows the center in..





Also doesn't cover the rear seat completely...does the bestop?

 

I dont think its supposed to cover the back seat, It looks like it would be to low

 

I was thinking that just now actually, I've never owned a bikini top before so I wasn't sure. I'd still like to know how the mounts compare to a bestop though if anyone out there has one.
