I have one, and it works great. The bolts and chrome top bars will rust, though. I just pianted my bars and put in stainless steel bolts for the bars (not the mounting bolts, don't use SS for those). I still haven't done the small allen bolts yet.

Ya I saw that too when i searhed these things. But im hoping cause he has a few i can get it for like 250. If not I found a Warn m8000 for 530 shipped at winchdepot. I think i should just spend the extra cash

I got the XRC8 no complaints so far other than the rusting allen scews that Phish JP mentioned... Guess it depends on hom much you plan to use it that will ultimately dictate how much you want to soend but I haven't herd of anyone having problems with the XRC8. I went with the rough country mounting plate and kept my stock bumper fo now, direct bolt on assembly and I think it looks pretty good too.... check out my gallery for photos if you want too.

Talking I have one

lil rust on the bolts, slow as hell, but it works.. Pulled a few buddies out with it, and at The Texas size meeting, I pulled a couple of JK's up a big muddy hill.

A winch was prob. the smartest thing I have bought for my Jeep.
