Default smittybuilt src rockers

just got mine in from quad...dont order these.
The mounting holes do not line up on my 4door, not even close enough to drimmel and grind into fitting.
I will be sending them back.
just a heads up; cheap for a reason. Minor details like fitting onto the vehicle were overlooked.

Thanks for the heads up. I was close to ordering these also until I read all the bad reviews here regarding them not fitting properly and bending since they only have two support points.

i have one side held on with only two bolts and the other side still has the socket wedged up in there. I just gave up. I've had these on for months now, I'm guessing its too late to do anything about it? a mechanic friend and I just gave up after approx 4 hours of wrestling with the damn things. We used pry bars just to get a socket on the bolt head but then couln't get the socket out so I left it. My main concern is that i dont even have the factory body mount bolts back in because the holes don't line up. Who do I contact?

*Not trying to be a jerk, just a heads up...

Mine went on fine, no problems. They were a bit of a pain to get lined up, but fit/finish is really pretty nice on them. I would rather have something be a tight fit than rattling around. They are (IMO) the best looking option available right now, bar none, so the price is just a bonus. They do have great customer service also. I have read of a lot having installation issues, but not everyone has them.

I have them too. Had to dremmel it a little to get them installed, but took me no longer than half an hour. These aren't the toughest rock rails around but for the extremely cheap price compared to others, it will offer better protection than nothing at all. I agree Matador as smittybilt does stand by their products and has great customer service. I would go with the XRC rock rails if your looking for real protection against rocks.

i may just toss these and get something more practical. the price could not be beat but not having all my body mount bolts in isn't worth the cheaper price. I would imagine that they have made corrections to these since i got mine and so there shouldn't be as many problems as before.
