Default Smoother ride Help

Not meanin to sound like a wuss or anything but just wantin a lil cushier ride on my stock jk 2012. I know its a jeep and I have no problem with the rough ride. This is for my pup. Shes had recent hip replacement surgery on both back hips and she goes to work with me daily since she has to be confined and walk on a special harness for 6 months. I do have it padded and a good bed but sometimes the bumps give her a good lil jolt and dont want her landing on her hips n hurting. When shes layin down is when I worry abt it kinda tossin her around a bit. And when shes standing and I hit a bump she loses her footing and I just dont wanna hurt her. Was curious if u guys could help me. I dont have Alotta $$ and not looking for anything major. Just something to make the ride more comfy for her.
Thanks.

Shocks would probably make the biggest difference.

What air pressure you running? Might have room too lower them which would help.

A free option would be to run a couple of pounds less in the tires.

If you could suspend her bed on bungie cords from the roll cage that might lessen the blow. Put like a piece of plywood under the bed and drill 4 holes in the wood for the bungie cords to go to then hang it from the cage. You could also find some soft foam to put under plywood to act like a bumpstop for lack of a better term. Should be fairly cheap. I have no idea if it will work but it seems like it should in theory. I know my Greyhound is getting older and I need to come up with something for him.

Was set for 37psi I think on my Jeep. It only beeps once when you start the vehicle so if you want to run like 32PSI you should be fine unless you cant stand the little tire light. Should definitely soften the ride. You might be able to put more weight in the Jeep to soften up the feel. Otherwise your looking at shock/spring combinations.

Do you have a crate for the dog or just open?

If she is standing, she is going to get hurt regardless if she's in a JK or a Bentley.

If she lays, how about an air mattress inflated partially?
