Default Snorkel issue

I know that most parts that fit the 2007-11 wrangler 4 door will fit the 2012 but I'm unsure of this snorkel situation? All the websites I have looked at say that there is only one snorkel available for the 3.6 pentastar? Is this right? Or is it just that they haven't updated the web yet?

That's right, unless you buy a CAI from air raid or ripp and then use a 2007-2011 snorkel. River raider is the only 2012 snorkel out at this point. I hear aev will have one by end of summer.

I am waiting for Rugged Ridge to finish the modifications to make theirs available. Looks better, no visible cutting.

I imagine it would still involve some cutting correct? I'm not against it the ripp air intake looks pretty solid? Does anyone have pics of how there snorkel hooks up under the hood? I'm probably not gonna wait cause it will be $700 or more here in Canada to get the 2012 model when it comes out!

Yes, unless you wait for the rugged ridge, pretty sure that one requires no cutting. PM RIPP, they're a vendor on this forum.
