Are there any restrictions with a snorkel compared to stock? I know someone posted about problems above 60. Does the AEV have the same problem?

there is NO problems with any snorkel over 60, including the River Raider which has been on my jeep for 38K miles

Oleg posted saying he drilled holes in the back of his intake on his RR and felt a difference at 60-80, he also has a RIPP supercharger and also has stock 4:10 gears, I run 5:13's....do I think holes in the rear of the head of the snorkel would help, not really and I'm not drilling holes to find out lol. It drives great, always has even before I got the lift, gears and 35's.

I also have the AEV snorkel although I haven't had a chance to actually use it yet and I've had it since January. I get questioned on it almost everytime I go to a gas station. "whats that thing on the side of your car?" "is that a lantern?" and just yesterday somebody asked "where did you get that exhaust?" I'm like, "you mean the snorkel?"

Someone here mentioned painting the top of theirs black which I think I'm going to do. Good idea, I don't like the gumball machine look either. Although that would be funny to put a bunch of gumballs in there to trip people out.
