Default So this is new

I know our E-brake is crappy so I usually put it in gear unless im on flat land. Well in my driveway I put it in gear and today I put it in 2nd and it would sit there and then roll back like 2 or 3 inches then sit there and the roll again and it did this cycle like 5 times and I moved it to first and it seemed to stop. Never seen that in my life, I know the jeep weighs a lot more now with bumpers, tires, winch, lift and every other thing possible. But to move while in gear? I mean it wasn't a free roll but it was stationary either.

Why not first? It's lower and less likely to roll.
