so tera flex wins
With 37s on the Tera-Flex 4" you will have to also include:
-new front bumper (front tires hit ends of stock bumper)
-new rear bumper (rear tires hit ends of stock bumper)
-new front drive shaft (too much lift for stock driveshaft and stock driveshaft hits tranny pan on 4 door auto)
-cutting pinchseam in front of rear tire (tire hits it)
-remove front plastic air dam (front tires hit it)
Just trying to keep people informed. Tera-Flex says you can run 37s with their 4" kit....... as long as you are heading out for groceries.

Typically rubbing against the oem bumper when the JK is flexing/stuffing a tire. Any brand of lift with a larger tire has this issue on a JK.
-new front drive shaft (too much lift for stock driveshaft and stock driveshaft hits tranny pan on 4 door auto) not true, several local customers/members here and our R&D guy have stock shafts on the front. I make a point to tell customers to run the stock shafts till they fail or just replace them and sell the stockers.
-cutting pinchseam in front of rear tire (tire hits it)depends on wheel/ tire combo/ why would you not trim this off?
-remove front plastic air dam (front tires hit it)depends on wheel/ tire combo, who leaves these on anyways?
When you go with 37's and 4" kit, certain modifications do need to be done. It's not uncommon with a JK and this type of setup to need these modifications.
I have been running a stock driveline now for over 8 month with a 4in lift and there is no play in it yet. Yea the boot is jacked up and the driveline is on the top of the to do least but I think if you go out and use your vehicle but don't abuse it you can really get some time out of the front line.
I would go 37s with the 4" or it is gonna have tons of fender room. I have enough room on my 3" to run 37s!!! Wanna see a pic of my Tera 3" and 35s?
If you want 37s.... get 37s. I wanted 37s and went 35s (so I would have time to ready my jeep for 37s while the 35s wear out) but now I keep thinking about selling my 35s and getting 37s. I had 33s put on my jeep day one rode them 7k miles or so, traded in toward 35s...have maybe 5k miles on them, thinking about getting 37s. If I had just started with 37s.... $ in my pocket!
