Use Chapstick. Works great and stays put! I get mine free from the dentist!

Chap stick works too. Easy to apply. Also, check out scuba or surf shops for dedicated zipper products

I got a bottle of zipper lube from Jeep dealer. It makes it easy to pull around the corners.
