Default softest shocks?!?!

recently have a new member of the family. the bilstein 5100s are a little rough on road. i mean you can feel every bump in the road. what is the softest/smoothest shock you can get? i hear skyjackers are soft but i recently threw those away because they rode worst than stock. any info would be great. i think my skyjacker springs have alot to do with it but spring swap isnt a option atm. thanks guys and gals

Subscribed. I recently put rubi springs and shocks 18/59 on two door and holy crap is my ride rough. I feel every single bump and its like riding in a buggy.

I have the bilstein shocks and they are fine for my little guy. But I am running the TF coils...so that is probably the big difference between us.

Check your tire pressure too. Too high and you will feel everything including pebbles!

LOL...yeah, I wish my passenger would have closed the door. All I can get is poser shots because I am too busy to get actual wheeling shots.

But I would wait and swap out coils. Shouldn't be too expensive if its just the coils. I love my Bilsteins!

yeah i guess i need to get a photographer to follow me around? did you happen to install your lift? reason i ask is i installed mine.. when i pulled my factory springs and the skyjackers they where exactly the same lenght, had a few more coils tho. so i would assume these are just stiffer causing the rough ride. where the teraflex coils taller or just stiffer as well?

Yeah, they were taller...not by as much as I thought they would be though.
