I believe there may be as many as 3 companies working on this and Warn isn't one of them for some reason.

Question JK Manual hub conversion

Just my thoughts on this.
I suppose the benefits of this are:

1. A lot less wear and tear on the front diff, front drive shaft and front output shaft bearings on the X case............... But why should most of us care with a LIFETIME warranty on all these parts??????

2. Better gas mileage. . ....BUT I will almost guarantee that if you do this conversion and a U-joint, outer axle shaft bearing or carrier bearing goes bad that Chrysler will not cover it under the lifetime warranty because of the conversionwith non Mopar parts.

3. If you bust a front end U-joint you can go back to TRUE 2wd and limp home.

I would really like to do this conversion once it is available BUT I am not gonna do jack S#!t to my JK that is gonna void the LIFETIME warranty.

If your built up enough, you wont have a warranty left anyhow..

Hell they wont even cover parts on the 3year 36,000 mile. with what mild modifications I've done to mine.

I'm going to look into this as well. I still have slight driveline vibs from the front shaft at highway speeds, this would solve my problems..

That's is not a valid argument. Just because Crappler does something doens't make it a good idea or reason.
