Sound and suspension
So, I gathered everyone's comments and talked to every suspension shop in San Diego. I finally found a non-biased suspension expert to help me at Socal Suspension. I have ordered replacement Bilstein shocks that will be installed on Saturday which I was told should really help out. I also ordered a Damplifier Pro liner and plan to line the entire floorboard with it. The suspension guy suggested that the Damplifier Pro can also help absorb bounce in the ride, which sounds great to me. Tires and/or coil springs are the next step if I want to do more. I like the hotheads headliner and I am considering a set.
My journey to make a jeep ride like a cadillac has begun. I will follow-up in a month or so after testing things out.

OK. New shocks were definitely the way to go. Bilstein OEM replacement shocks are a HUGE difference. It also rides about an inch higher so I can't complain about that. I am waiting on the second skin damplifier pro and luxury liner for the floorboard to help with noise. Probably will install this weekend.
On another note I haven't seen a good option for helping with sound on the hardtop. All of the liners look cheap. I know the hardtop is responsible for 50% of the noise (wind) I just don't see any real solutions out there.

The bilstein shocks worked out great. It increased the ride height by about 1" and rides much better than stock. I would recommend the bistein shocks to anyone with a Jeep wrangler.
The damplifier pro and luxury liner made a huge difference. The only sound now comes from the wind noise on the hardtop. Overall the sound quality is a huge improvement.
These improvements totally changes the ride and sound transmission from the road and tires and made my commuting much better. Overall the jeep was down for half a day for the shocks and about 1 full Saturday to pull carpet and install the floor liners. Good luck to anyone that tries this themselves, you will be surprised how much it actually helps.
