Default Spacer lifts????

Looking for info from anyone knowledge or experience with spacer type lifts. I'm considering the TF 2.5 BB and basically wondering how long they hold up over time. I don't do extreme off roading here in Mich. but would eventually be going with a taller tire set up. Thanks !

I don't see how any of the components could "wear out"... the spacers are just pucks that sit between the spring and factory spring perch. the shocks could wear out sure and the life of those would depend on driving habits, mileage, etc just as any other shock.

I guess my concern was that over time the Spacer's would compress.

I put my Rough Country 2.5 BB on about a month after purchase ('08 Rubicon Unltd). That was Jan 2008. I have put about 5k miles on it since. Could not be more pleased. Like stated earlier, the pucks are steel (RC version anyway) and seem indestructible. I did the shock extenders vs. new shocks, so ride is pretty much unchanged or maybe just a tiny bit stiffer?

Definitely all I needed and wanted in a lift. I did spend the extra money on front and rear adj. track bars. Not sure they were needed, but I was anal about wanting to precisely center my axles and prepare for future spring lifts.

Save your money and go with a coil lift like the Teraflex 2.5". There are three kits to choose from and they are really affordable as coil kits go. Great support, too. I had some rear spacers slip on me. They weren't Teraflex, but the design was similar. Go coils. You won't regret it.
