Spacers...
So I finally bit the bullet and bought some aftermarket wheels. I plan on installing my stock rubi tires until I bite the next bullet for 37's and a lift
( lead poisoning at this point). New wheels will be 17x9x5/127 and understand stock tires will be fine so long as I don't air down or anything in
fear of tire slipping off rim. My question is are wheel spacers required when running aftermarket wheels to correct the lug/hub ratio? I read a
little about lug centric v hub centric and kinda get it, I'm looking at the Spidertrax spacers...any opinions?

The only reason you would need spacers would be to fix a clearance issue, for example: I am running stock wheels with 33's and was polishing my sway bar with the inside of the tire at full turn (lock). I added a set of 1.5" spacers to deuce my back spacing and set the wheel/tire away from the suspension components. Your aftermarket wheels likely already have a lower back spacing around 4-4.5 and you shouldn't need spacers. Check the manufacturers website to see what your specific back space is.

Like others have said, if you are going with aftermarket wheels, you won't need spacers with the correct back spacing on the wheels. Not because the spacers are unsafe, they just aren't necessary and you would be wasting money.
