Are spacers a must?
Hey guy's, a question please, I have a 07 2dr X, I am staying with the stock 17 inch wheels, and putting on 35X12.5/17 BFG MT's. I do have a 2.5 inch BB lift. Is it absolutely a fact that I have to buy spacers, I stay on road most of the time and never turn full lock! I didn't want to buy the tires and not have the spacers ready to go on if they aren't totally needed. Thanks

yeah
i you just think you are not going too full steer, you are wrong just parking you will need that and its very inconftrable i dont recomend you to go around whith out spacers, and i did that when i first bought my 33 and thers a bar there where you rub allot and whith time like 1 week itll rust because of the rubbing the paint will fall down.

You might find this post interesting. I'm pretty sure 12.5" wide tires will necessitate spacers as others have suggested, but were you to run a narrower 35 (e.g. 11-11.5" wide) I think you might be able to get away with my setup.

Another advantage that spacers provide(in theory) is a little more stability since your stance will be wider lowering your COG. The primary reason for them is to prevent rubbing and your case you do need them due to the back spacing of the factory rims.
