Spacers or New Wheels?

Thanks for that link, don't have time to read up on it right now but I will definetly get around to it...
I will probably just end up buying wheels at the same time and down sizing to 17's. MAYBE even 16's.... But spacers was a new idea that was brought to my attention recently so I was just curious what others thought!

So I am trying to decide if I want to get new tires and stay with the stock 18's (for now) and get spacers; get new wheels later... OR do I want to just save up the money get new wheels and tires and no spacers.. OR WAIT... Do I have to have spacers if I have new wheels? (I don't think so, but I have never asked either)

Take it from someone who has done both, spacers on my mt wheels, flexing tears off my fenders every time, so I got a set of crawlers less spacers with 4.5" back spacing and no issues.
