Mine came with the butt ugly MOPAR wheel lock on the spare tire, but they didn't tighten the lock at all. I took it off with my two fingers. Real nice QC from the dealer. I have torqued it down.

I ran a cable type bicycle lock through my spare tire and the spare holder / 3rd brake light. I got it at Target for about $15. Had the same setup on my old TJ for about 6 years without problems. I figure that the spare is the most vulnerable to theft as it doesn't have the weight of the vehicle, need a jack, etc. to steal. If whomever is determined they'll steal the wheels anyway.

I don't like locking lug nuts (had one break years ago and couldn't get the key to work... that was he11 to get off the car), so I don't use them. Plus, I don't need any more "keys" to keep up with.

My $.02

I wonder if it would be possible to add a wire to loop the door alarm thru the spare rim? If you open the read door or cut the wire running thru the rim the alarm would start. Has anyone wired the hood into the alarm system?

don't put the key in the glove box or console. if someone wants your wheels and sees you have locks, the first place they'll look is in the glove box.

at least hide them in the rear cubby or something.

I stopped using wheel locks. PITA on the trail. My friends car had his wheels stolen. The bandit broke his window...went through the car until they found the key......just my .02
