Default Specific spring question - any help appreciated

Have a Sahara unlimited 4D with towing package - front springs are 16 ac. If I switch out to Rubicon springs and shocks - springs are 17ac will I get any benefit?? I have seen that adding rubicon set ups will add 1.5 inch, but not sure if the numbers are universal or if they are different for rubicons.

I have read and researched, but can't seem to find if this slight difference will help.

Thanks!

That seems more practical if you had a 2 door. I could see 2 door sports getting an inch or so of lift with 4 door springs. But, in your specifications it's not worth it. If its the front rake you're trying to fix, get 1" puck spacers up front and that'll help. Otherwise I would save up and do a Teraflex 2.5" spring lift with adjustable front trackbar and a rear trackbar bracket if you really want to be sitting at a nice ride height with practical functionality.

For any noticeable gain you would need to use the max spring 19 front / 60 rear.

By the way....Rubicon, Sport and Sahara springs are all the same. The shocks are the only difference.

Lots of info here, I don't think you're gonna see much benefit only going up one number.
