Default SPECIFICATIONS - FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shock?

About to pull the trigger on these (980-24-887) and I was wondering if anyone knows or knows where to find exact specs for these shocks? Only spec listed is min/max lift height. Can't find it on their site and their email/contact form appears to be broken...

Anyway, I'm switching out my rather old but excellent Synergy shocks for the these FOX ones. I want to make sure I will be matching or at least close to the Synergy specs because they worked out so well. My lift height is somewhere between 3.5 & 4.5 inches so I know which ones I should get. Just really want to know the specs.

Synergy specs are:
Travel 10.84"
Extended Length: 27.06"
Collapsed Length: 16.2"

You need the 4-6" shocks. I have the ones you are looking at. They are far sale actually. Wanna say the rear is 25" extended and front is like 26 extended. They are bout an inch shorter than the ones you have. Maybe a little less

So I went ahead and got the ones suggested for a 4" lift. I do have exactly 4" of lift as measured using this as my reference. I have exactly 4 ½" of exposed shaft at normal ride height. Will that exposed portion of the shaft completely disappear at full compression (as in no part of the shaft showing), or will there be a bit exposed?

The reason I'm asking is that I have 5 ½" of space between the top of the lower bump stop and the bottom edge of the upper metal cup that holds the rubber stop in place. I other words, that space is an inch too long I think.

It's my understanding that the rubber stop will fully compress under load. I really don't want to bottom out my new shocks and ruin them. If I can still have an inch of shaft at full compression I might be OK though... Any insite would be greatly appeciated.

Part number FOX980-24-887 specs are:
Front shocks
Extended 25.15 inch
Compressed 15.55 inch
9.6 inch travel 2-4 inch lift.

If you got the 4-6 inch shocks part number FOX980-24-641 specs are:
Extended 28.25 inch
Compressed 17.15 inch
11.1 inch of travel.

If you purchased the 4-6" shock, and your measurements are correct, you will likely need to adjust your bump stops. A hand full of companies out there make adjustable bumps and can be further fine tuned by large washers. I'm happy with my JKS's and the billet looks good too.

Thanks a lot for the specs! By the way, where did you get those specs from? I could not find them anywhere including the FOX website...
