Default Spidertrax dot approved?

Are spidertrax spacers approved for street use? On the box I just received it states for off road use only. Anyone have problems passing state inspections with them on their rig? Never seen that written in any advertisements.

no wheel spacer is dot approved and if you live in a state where this is something they will check, it might be a problem for you to use. as far as safety goes, so long as you install them correctly and inspect them on a regular basis as you should anything on your jeep, they will be completely safe to use.

As Eddie stated, there is no safety issues whatsoever if you install them correctly and do normal maintenance.

My JK passed NY State inspection without a hitch....

Nope, not DOT inspection legal. I have been to a couple tire chain stores that won't work on a vehicle with spacers. But I ran mine for over three years with no problems.
