It was fine. I've done a lot of water crossings, some deeper than that, and not ever had an issue with any electronics (okay, horns aren't working, but suspect the clockspring). I just figure for the cost of an sPOD, why not provide marine construction? I do still recommend sPOD for anyone who is interested in it, but can see several reasons, including cost, number of controlled circuits, amperage required, and waterproofness, as reasons others may opt some other route.

Here's one alternative. I read about it in another. I haven't gotten one yet. Looking for more reviews.
