I've seen a few photos of hard tops that have had the interiors painted. I was wondering if anyone had tried doing a spray-in liner on the hard top interior? I was thinking of doing it and having the color matched to the rest of the interior accents. I would like to see pictures of either style mod if you have them.

 

I want to do mine as well...tired of feeling like im in the inside of a cooler

 

I definitely plan on doing it. I was thinking black, but you got me thinking about trying to match the interior. Maybe charcoal?

 

I like mine white. It really helps at night if you need to see with the interior lights. If the inside of the top is black, it absorbs a lot of the light and you cannot see as well.

 

Thanks for the link. Pictures always help to generate new ideas. Yeah, I was thinking charcoal for the color. It wouldn't be as hot, and it would help with the lighting issue some, not to mention, it would look really good. I'm trying to find the dupli-color in different color options.

 

sorry no pictures, but i had line-x do the outside black and the inside gray (they matched it to the headrest). it looks so much better than the white! it did smell pretty bad for two weeks too!

i want to linex my inside and/or outside of my hard top. hows the noise reduction etc with it?

 

I'm thinking about getting the LED replacement interior light. Those things are pretty bright so I don't think it will matter what color the inside of the hard top is.

Seriously, that does make sense to find something lighter if there are lighting issues. It's amazing how bright the inside can be with the white. part of it may be the extra light from the Satellite radio.
