Default Spring Issue

Doing after trail maint on my Jeep today and notcied an indent made on both my front springs (see picture below). It is on both springs in the same spot on each side, not sure if this is normal wear or something is rubbing it the wrong way. Looked for anything that would hit it but can't see anything.

I just installed new front OME HD springs about 3-4 weeks ago.

also... dented my tranny frame crossmember and apparently knocked my rear diff enough to loosen the gasket and it is now leaking... amoungst some other minor scratches.

Working on better pictures now... my camera tends to be difficult when I need it to focus in on something.

I can see the dents now, but what part of the spring are they located?

are you refering to the powder coating that got scratched off in a vertial line? i don't know, maybe i'm still not seeing it.

regarding your dented cross member, no big deal. everyone i know has beaten theirs to no end including me and it still does the job and well. as far as your diff leak goes, yeah, that is kind of a pain but to be expected sometimes.

WoL - That other stuff is just the fun of doing it, for the spring...

The pictures don't realyl show it well, the metal itself is dented in, not just the coating, I realyl wouldn't care about that. It is a rounded groove and it cut into the metal of the spring, will try and see if I can get some better angles.
