Exclamation I broke it!

It rained the other day, so I took the Rubi out in the pasture to see if the creek had any water in it. Nope, it'll take 2-3 " before that happens. Didn't do anything at all radical, but this was what I saw when I went in the house.

Does anyone know if I can buy just the little rod that goes thru the top of the shock (and bolts up to the frame in 2 places)?

You probably could buy a new bar pin, or there are some companies that make adaprters so you don't need the bar pin.

Yes you can get a new bar pin. I'm not an expert on it, but I do know of several Jeeps that have switched to bar pin eliminators. I know Teraflex makes one, JKS, others I'm sure. I think they are only like $20 too...

Yeah, it was the pin that goes thru the top of the shock that bolts to the frame.

I've still got the stock Rubi shocks in the shed. I'm not sure if they'll work with your lift, but your more than welcome to em. I'll give em to you.

I stopped by my local Jeep shop ; same place I got my Airaid, Duster, and Windjammer. I asked George if he had one and he did. He just gave it to me. Cool dude.

Good Point!

If you drink better beer this wouldn't have happened. Switch to Abita TurboDog & nothing will brake on you jeep.
