Sprint booster
Hi Mike Thank you for your interest with the Sprint Booster. The web site has been updated for the 2011 Wrangler models! Best regards, Ken

Isn't this just the same adjustment to throttle response you can dial in on other programmers such as Superchips etc?
EDIT: After reading the write-up in project JK, it seems the module attaches to the accelerator wiring itself, and doesn't reprogram the PCM like the other programmers. Would be interested if anyone has tried this out? The throttle delay of the Wrangler's fly-by-wire system drives me nuts!

Whats the part number for the 2011 wrangler manual sprintbooster ?
There is only 1 part number now. Not sure what the number is, but it's the one being sold on their website. The difference is now, the two connector ends have a flexible middle section, so it can bend past that plastic piece that hangs down in the 2011s.

It does what it advertises. If you read up on it, they specifically say it adds no power. All it does is reduce throttle lag by changing the ratio of throttle opening verus peddle travel.
So, it is snake oil only if you think it will add horsepower.
I would not buy it before a Superchips if I had the 3.8.
That said, I found the throttle lag in the fly by wire annoying.
The push button on the booster lets you turn it off, turn on the green light mode for moderate accelerater pedal/throttle sensitivity, and red light mode for lots of throttle opening for very little pedal travel. Thats all it does.
On the road, I like the throttle response to be right now, and pedal travel for normal driving to be about an inch of travel. When I want passing gear, I want it instantly. So on the road it is in red mode, and I like the improvement. I would not let anyone else drive it in that mode in my rig.
The question is, if you notice the throttle lag, does it annoy you $300 worth? It did me. But my Jeep is my money pit anyway. YMMV.

Supply and demand for sure; you are assuming it is a simple product to create/manufacture. I am assuming that a ton of R&D goes into a product that screws with the accelerator. Even if the product costs little to make as a company I would say that you have a high amount of risk for such a product. Look at Toyota and what an accelerator problem did to that company.
