Default Spyder diff covers

Anybody running spyder diff covers? Are they quality? what's the difference in spending $90 on a spyder and $160 on an ARB?

Also I only see a front diff cover from Spyder, do they make a rear as well?

I just installed one on the rear of my '13 Rubicon. Top quality and a bargan for the price compared to the others. No reason to spend more money in my opinion unless you just don't like the looks.

I like it a lot! Probably the way I'm going to go. So is the front the same as the rear?

Diff covers are sold for the type of Diff it is.. so a Dana 44 would fit both front and rear.

They make covers for what ever Dana you have. In the case of a Rubicon, the 44 in the front is the same as the rear. However... the stock track bar in the front will not clear a heavy duty cover and that including the PS. If you want to place one of these in the front, you'll have to replace the stock bar with one like the TF adjustable that is designed to clear fat covers like these.
The rear track bar does clear just barely and I did some grinding on mine for insurance.
The reason for placing one of these on the rear is to avoid the most common rock vs diff issue, which is breaking the cover seal on the bottom by draging it over a rock and loosing your oil. That won't happen with one of these.

I have a Dana 44 so front and back are the same, cool... I already have a track bar relo kit so I'm clear up front but I'll need a rear track bar relo kit it seems which is fine. The more stuff out of the way, the better...

Thanks guys!

I've run the old style Poison Spyder covers for over two years now. Same material as the new ones, just a different design. Never had any issues. They've taken a lot of hits and scrapes, but no damage outside of loosing some paint.

That orange/black spyder is nice. If I had a orange Jeep, I'd be going... hmmm
