Often (like 99% of the time) times the wheels are made overseas, but "finished" in the USA, be it welding on the lip to the wheel, to mount the ring.

I'm assuming the cast wheel for those who buy spyderlocks directly say made in the USA.

yeah I know that. My question pertains to what is says on the actual casting whether it's from spyderlock or from atx.

Well based from the Pirate forums, Clifton owned PSC and Spyderlock at the same time. Clifton sold to Larry who moved operations to CA which was recently sold to the parent company of 4WP, Smittybuilt, etc.

I believe Clifton sold Sypderlock (or maybe he's still involved in a different manner) since it sounds like ATX / Spyderlock are under the same umbrella now.

Clifton's (ex-wife) AJ got Spyderlock in the divorce.
Clifton sold the brand name/designs (back then) of PSC to Larry.
Clifton is out of the game right now, but still does Ultimate Adventure.

As i understand it, spiderlock makes its own wheels inhouse from blanks. They had to change dies for them to make the 20" wheels for me. For awhile they had stopped producing 20s in favor of 18" but it didnt sell like they expected.

My $ is cast in the USA for spyderlock 20" and probably the 18". China for atx slab/spyderlock 17"...... just curious.

I got all the wheels I need already until I decide to throw on some spyntec hubs
