I had the same squeaking symptoms along with a little front end rattle. I had it in the shop and it turns out I need new brakes all around, 4 new ball joints and 2 U-Joints . Not looking forward to the bill.

I have a similar thing only my squeak is when turning to the right when driving under about 50-60mph. It's not really noticeable above that. It's also more pronounced when stopping (gets louder right as i push the brake but dissappears as i push down on the brake pedal). It's also starting to squeak all the time even when not turning and even at really slow speeds (5-10mph).

I'm thinking it might be my brake pads. At least the squeak that is now happening all the time. I have around 44k miles and had it since Sept 2007 and haven't replaced any of them. Although the squeak when turning to the right has happened for about 20k miles now.

I have to say this has just been resolved. I replaced my rear brake pads at 44k miles. No more squeaking at all! I can't believe it since i've had that squeak since around 30k miles.

Hmmm,,, how about only replacing the left brake...
But really, might it be dust on the disk brake caliper maybe on the squeeky side???

Default Squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel to the left...

I have similiar issue. Mines turning to the right or just starting out straight. Fairly intermitent, but happens enough that it's really annoying. I've only got about 3k miles on it and pretty much stock at this point. Doesn't occur while coasting or braking, so I am assuming it has something to do with transmission or drivetrain. Almost sounds like a brake sqeuak, but does not occur while brakes are applied only under acceleration.

ps. first post, finally popped my cherry, ha
